Terms of Service
Last updated: October 20, 2026 · Effective date: October 20, 2026
The short version: Money God is free, read-only and informational. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice — you make your own decisions. It can't trade or move money. Your data stays yours. The Service is provided as is, and Section 13 explains how disputes are resolved, including an arbitration agreement and class-action waiver. Please read the full terms.
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Money God, including the app at app.getmoneygod.com and the website at getmoneygod.com (together, the "Service"), provided by SPARCgen Inc, a Delaware corporation headquartered in Plainsboro, New Jersey ("SPARCgen", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you ("you", "User") agree to be bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy and Cookie Policy.

1. The Service
Money God is a personal finance tool for families. It brings together accounts, net worth, spending, investments, taxes, retirement and other plans in one private place, and uses calculations and optional AI features to explain what it sees and to suggest things you might consider. You can connect brokerage accounts through SnapTrade and bank and card accounts through SimpleFIN, or enter information by hand.
The Service is read-only. It cannot place trades, transfer money, pay bills, open or close accounts, or initiate any transaction. Any action you take in your financial accounts, you take yourself, outside the Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create an account. The Service is not directed to children under 13. The Service is designed for US households and US tax rules; if you use it from elsewhere, you are responsible for compliance with local law.
3. Not financial, investment, tax or legal advice
Read this section carefully — it limits what you can rely on.
- Everything the Service shows — figures, projections, scores, "best plan" and "next move" suggestions, alerts and AI answers — is for information and education only. It is not financial, investment, tax, accounting, insurance or legal advice, and it is not a recommendation or solicitation to buy, sell or hold any security or financial product.
- SPARCgen is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, financial planner, tax preparer, CPA or law firm, and no fiduciary or advisory relationship is created by your use of the Service. Features named for roles (such as "CFO", "adviser" or "analyst") describe software functions, not licensed professionals.
- Estimates come from models that may be wrong or incomplete, including the PolicyEngine tax engine, Monte Carlo simulations of possible futures, a portfolio optimizer, and AI models. They depend on your inputs, on assumptions, and on data from third parties (such as delayed or incomplete prices and account data). Past performance and simulated results do not guarantee future results.
- You alone decide what to do with your money and are responsible for those decisions. Check important decisions — especially tax filings, large trades, retirement, insurance and estate matters — with a qualified professional.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information and keep it current. Every account uses two-step sign-in (a password and an authenticator app). You are responsible for keeping your password, authenticator and recovery codes secure and for activity under your account. Tell us promptly at hello@getmoneygod.com if you suspect unauthorized access. We may limit or approve sign-ups at our discretion.
You may delete your account at any time from My account. Deletion removes your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Households and invitations
Data lives in households. The person who creates a household is its owner and may invite others as owners, admins, members or viewers. Anyone you invite can see the household's data according to their role. You are responsible for whom you invite and the role you give them, and for having the right to enter information about other people (such as family members) into a household. Owners and admins may remove members; owners may delete the household, which deletes its data for everyone in it.
6. Connected accounts and third parties
- SnapTrade (brokerages) and SimpleFIN (banks and cards) are independent services. You connect them using your own credentials, subscription or access, and their terms govern those connections. Any fees they charge (for example, a SimpleFIN subscription) are between you and them.
- You authorize us to access and store the data those connections return, solely to provide the Service to you.
- Account data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. We are not responsible for the accuracy of data from your financial institutions, SnapTrade, SimpleFIN, market data sources or other third parties, or for their availability, content or terms.
- The Service uses Cloudflare, Resend and other providers listed in the Privacy Policy. We have no control over third-party services and are not responsible for them.
7. AI features
AI features are optional. They run on an AI provider you choose with your household's own API key (or, where we offer one, a platform-provided key). When you use them, information the feature needs is sent to that provider and handled under its terms, and any charges for your key are billed to you by that provider. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date even when it cites figures; verify it before relying on it. The AI CFO stores facts about your family only after you confirm them.
8. Your content
You keep all rights to the information, notes and documents you add to the Service or that your connected accounts provide ("Your Content"). You grant SPARCgen a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, copy, encrypt, process, transmit and display Your Content only as necessary to operate and provide the Service to you and your household — for example, to sync accounts, read documents you upload, run analyses you request, and send it to the AI provider you choose. This licence ends when Your Content is deleted from the Service, except for copies in backups that roll off as described in the Privacy Policy. We do not sell Your Content, use it for advertising, or use it to train AI models.
You are responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the right to upload it. Do not upload content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy. Please keep your own copies of important documents; the vault is not a substitute for a backup.
9. Permitted use
You may use the Service for managing your own and your family's personal finances. You agree to comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. In particular, you agree not to:
- Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or regulation
- Access or attempt to access data that is not yours or your household's, or another user's account
- Reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble any part of the Service, except as the law expressly allows
- Scrape, mass-download or systematically extract data from the Service, or use bots or scripts except through features we document
- Resell, sublicense or provide the Service to others commercially, including running it as a paid advisory or bookkeeping service for clients, without our written permission
- Interfere with, overload or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Misrepresent your identity or impersonate any person or entity
We may suspend or terminate access for violations, with or without notice.
10. Our intellectual property
The Service and its software, design, text, graphics and the Money God name and logo are owned by SPARCgen or its licensors and are protected by US and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service under these Terms. The Service includes open-source software used under its own licences (for example PolicyEngine-US under AGPL-3.0, which runs unmodified; its source is available at github.com/PolicyEngine/policyengine-us); nothing in these Terms limits your rights under those licences.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them without obligation to you.
11. Price, changes and availability
The Service is currently free. Optional third-party services you choose (SimpleFIN, SnapTrade, your AI provider) may charge you directly. If we ever introduce paid features, we will tell you in advance; we will not charge you without your explicit agreement.
We may add, change or remove features, set reasonable usage limits, or suspend or discontinue the Service (in whole or in part) at any time. If we decide to shut the Service down, we will try to give you at least 30 days' notice by email so you can export your data.
12. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, or to protect the Service or other users. On termination your right to use the Service ends immediately; where reasonable and lawful, we will give you an opportunity to export your data first. Sections 3, 8 (as to our limited licence ending), 10, and 13 through 19 survive termination.
13. Disputes
Informal resolution first: before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at hello@getmoneygod.com and try to resolve the dispute informally for at least 30 days.
Arbitration: any dispute that is not resolved informally will be finally settled by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration will be conducted in English and seated in Princeton, New Jersey; hearings may be held by video, and in-person hearings will take place in Princeton, New Jersey unless the AAA rules require otherwise. The arbitrator's decision will be final and binding. Fees are allocated as the AAA rules provide.
Class action waiver: you and SPARCgen agree that any arbitration or court proceeding will be conducted only on an individual basis and not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective or representative action.
Exceptions: either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or the security of the Service, without first proceeding to arbitration.
Opt-out: you may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing hello@getmoneygod.com with the subject "Arbitration opt-out" within 30 days of first accepting these Terms.
14. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. SPARCGEN DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE, THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST, OR THAT ANY FIGURE, ESTIMATE, PROJECTION, TAX CALCULATION, SUGGESTION OR AI OUTPUT IS COMPLETE, CURRENT OR CORRECT. YOU USE THE SERVICE AND RELY ON ITS OUTPUT AT YOUR OWN RISK.
15. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SPARCGEN AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES AND AFFILIATES WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, INVESTMENT LOSSES, TAXES, PENALTIES, INTEREST, GOODWILL, DATA OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE, OR ANY DECISION YOU MAKE BASED ON IT.
SPARCGEN'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID SPARCGEN IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO LIABILITY, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OR LIMITATION OF CERTAIN WARRANTIES OR DAMAGES; IN THOSE JURISDICTIONS SOME OF THE ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
16. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SPARCgen and its officers, directors, employees and affiliates from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of (a) your use of the Service, (b) Your Content, (c) your violation of these Terms, or (d) your violation of any law or third-party right, including the rights of people whose information you enter into a household.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the Federal Arbitration Act and, otherwise, by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to Section 13, any claim not subject to arbitration will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Mercer County, New Jersey, and you and SPARCgen consent to their jurisdiction.
18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time and will post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email and in the app at least 30 days before the changes take effect. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms; if you don't agree, export your data and delete your account.
19. Miscellaneous
- Entire agreement: these Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, Cookie Policy and DMCA & Copyright Policy, are the entire agreement between you and SPARCgen about the Service.
- Severability: if any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remain in full force.
- No waiver: failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it.
- Assignment: you may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets.
- Electronic notices: you agree that we may give notices by email to the address on your account or in the Service, and that these satisfy any requirement that notices be in writing.
- Copyright: see our DMCA & Copyright Policy.
